Just wanted to update. He looks really tired though, but says he's not tired, just feeling stressed out. Mainly because the kids are still hollering and screaming (just as before he left) and no matter how I try, I just can't seem to quite get them to calm down. It seemed like he was gone so long I accused him of "not wanting to come home." I offended him and had to apologize. I just missed him. I'm so glad he's back.
P.S. The kids did end up sleeping with me, but I warned them prior to that if it got to crazy, they were going to their own beds. We had a bit of a thunderstorm which must have temporarily knocked out the power. It was a gentle thunder which is always enjoyable to me.
