The Nuby Bedlite Buddies make excellent companions to assist children in getting to sleep. I found it a little humorous and quite heartwarming seeing my one year old interact with his little buddy. We were both awake and sitting up in the bed. He was playing with my iPad, and I sat there with our newborn hoping he'd soon tire out and hand it over. I handed him his Bedlite Buddy and he set the iPad aside to tend to his little music buddy. I thought it was so sweet that he'd give that kind of attention to a toy and put a game aside.

The Nuby Bedlite buddy is an adorable bedtime companion designed for children from ages 6 months and up. One thing I found quite impressive is how easy it is to activate it with a press of it's tummy. I find that many toys are quite difficult and require some sort of parental assistance. Not this little guy. My 1 year old is able to turn it on whenever he feels the desire to do so.

I also like the the subtle cues it gives for a little one to get to sleep. Just looking at it, it has half closed eyelids. The music is soft with a slow tempo which helps to relax. Then there's the light which fades after each song ends, which reminds me much of how one drifts into sleep.
