I may be about to embarrass myself, again, but until recently, as in within the past month, i'd never read The Lorax. I checked and it was written in 1971. Some of you may be asking yourself right now just which rock I lived under.
I'm glad to have had this opportunity because I learned that Dr Seuss was more than about entertaining kids of all ages, but that he found a way to relay an important message to generations to come. That message is to conserve the earth's natural resources. The Lorax has a subtle, yet serious way to make it clear of the devastation that can take place in our environment if the earth's resources continue to be selfishly used.
The theme of the Lorax fits perfectly with Seventh Generation, whose goal is to provide consumers with non-toxic, green products. These products include Free and Clear Overnight Diapers and Training Pants that are free of fragrances and latex, which is very thoughtful because babies come with sensitive skin. They're made with renewable resources and they're free of chlorine processing, which means less chlorinated products released into the environment.
Seventh Generation Free and Clear Overnight Diapers and Training Pants are there to see you through from the time your baby is a newborn until you have successfully potty trained. The diapers range from newborn through size 6 and the training pants sizes range from 2T through 5T. They also:
- Are designed to last through the night or during prolonged travel.
- Improved with more flexible tabs to provide even better fit
- Have an absorbent core made with more renewable, plant based materials
- Feature stretchy, tear away side panels for a better fit and added convenience, as well as inner leak barriers for superior leakage protection.
